Abstract:
The first highly enantioselective copper-catalyzed conjugate addition reactions are described using a new class of chiral monodentate phosphorus ligands. Diethylzinc additions to cyclohexenone in the presence of $\mathrm{Cu}(\mathrm{OTf})_{2}$ and a chiral phosphoramidite give the corresponding product in up to $99 \%$ ee.
