Abstract
Importance: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant psychological distress among healthcare workers worldwide. Understanding the mental health impact is crucial for developing effective support strategies.
Objective: To assess the prevalence and severity of anxiety, depression, and stress symptoms among healthcare workers in China during the early phase of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Design, Setting, and Participants: This cross-sectional study was conducted from February 1 to March 1, 2020, involving 1,257 healthcare workers from 10 hospitals across 5 provinces in China.
