A The system shall consist of a network system that covers the entire institution and a computer system that provides the basic functions required for research activities.
B The system shall be introduced as a replacement for the existing systems.
C The network system shall consist of a central aggregation switch and multiple access switches.
D The computer system shall consist of a network file server and a remote backup system, a virtualization server system, an email server, a user management and authentication system, and an electronic information board system.
E The virtualization server system shall include virtual machines on which the email server, the user management and authentication system, and a management server for the electronic information board system operate.
F The electronic information board system shall include ten LCD displays for showing events of the institution, and shall be capable of integrated content management through the management server.

(5) 調達に必要とされる基本的な要求要件
A VDECのWEBサービスの提供・CADのソフトウェアの配布・メーリングリストの運営を目的とするWeb・メールサーバおよびそのバックアップサーバ、CADライセンスの全国への提供を目的とするCADサーバ、大規模なレイアウトデータの最終検証・データ変換等を目的とする高い計算処理能力を有するセンターサーバ、演習用端末のデータ保存領域およびNFSの機能の提供を目的とする演習室・NFSサーバ、システム全体のバックアップのための大容量ストレージを有するバックアップサーバ、講習や実習などを実施するための演習用端末、上述の計算機群を接続するためのネットワークシステム、無停電電源サブシステムから構成されること。
B センター利用計算機群については、大規模な設計に対してCADソフトへのアクセスに対し高速かつ安定した運用が可能であること。また、現在LSI設計で広く使用さ
れている主要なEDA-CADが全て動作すること。さらにデータの自動バックアップ機能を有し、安定的に終日無人運転が可能であること。
C 演習用端末群については、50名までの多人数によるCADソフトの同時利用に支障がなく運用可能な構成であり、かつ自動運転・無人運転を可能とする管理運用システムを有していること。
D 十分なセキュリティ対策を有していること。
E センターの業務の継続性に十分考慮した保守体制および教育・支援体制を有すること。
F 機器の設置、既存設備との接続、ソフトウェアのインストールおよび調整を含むこと。

A The system shall be composed of a Web/Mail server and its backup server intended for providing VDEC web ser-
vices, distributing CAD software, and managing mailing lists ; a CAD server intended for providing CAD licenses nationwide ; a Center server with high computational processing capabilities intended for final verification of large-scale layout data and data conversion ; a Seminar/NFS server intended for providing data storage areas for training terminals and NFS functions ; a Backup server equipped with large-capacity storage for system-wide backup ; training terminals for conducting lectures and practical exercises ; a network system to connect the aforementioned computer groups ; and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) subsystem.
B Regarding the center computing systems, they must enable high-speed and stable operation for accessing CAD software for large-scale designs. Additionally, all major EDA-CAD tools currently widely used in LSI design must operate on the systems. Furthermore, they must possess automatic data backup functions and be capable of stable, 24-hour unattended operation.
C Regarding the training terminals, the configuration must support simultaneous use of CAD software by a large group of up to 50 users without hindrance, and must possess a management and operation system that enables automatic and unattended operation.
D The system must possess sufficient security measures.
E The proposal must provide a maintenance structure as well as an education and support structure that gives sufficient consideration to the business continuity of the Center.
F The scope shall include equipment installation, connection with existing facilities, software installation, and adjustments.
