ence Tokyo認証システム、書店等の発注
システム、リンクリゾルバ等の外部システ
ム等との連携が行えること.
J業務を最大限効率的に遂行できるよう、
外部システムとのデータ連動を含め、可能
な限り自動化されたシステムであること。
K本学の所有する各種学術情報資料の電子
的蓄積と検索が可能な機能を有すること,
LWWWブラウザを通して、資料の貸出
予約サービス等を提供できること。
M本学構成員については、本学のScience
Tokvo認証、及び本学ICカードを用い
た認証が可能であること。
N技術の進歩や関連する外部システムの仕
様変更等に対する拡張性の配慮がなされ、
システムの改良に柔軟に対応可能であるこ
と。
○理工学系図書館、及び医歯学系図書館の
現行の2システムで保持する資産を継承
し、円滑な移行を行うこと。
P導入システムの運用・操作に関して、本
学図書館職員に対し、適切な研修を実施す
ること。
2資料及びコメントの提供方法上記1(2)の物
品に関する一般的な参考資料及び同(5)の要求要
件等に関するコメント並びに提供可能なライフ
ラリーに関する資料等の提供を要請する。

6 Summary

(4) Basic requirements of the procurement:
A This system is an integrated library
computer system. The system should
have high speed and stable performance,
and carry out continuous operation of the
long period of time.
B The system should manage data and
program in the server-side as much as
possible. Put minimum program and data
in the clients-side
C Severs of the system providing library
management system and Web services to
users should be provided in a highly se-
cured cloud environment to operate
stably without the influence of campus si-
tuation such as network failure and blac-
kout
D The system should connect with Insti-
tute of Science Tokyo high-speed campus
information network and share the sys-
tem resources after giving required and
sufficient security management
E The system should build the tho-
roughgoing backup function of a system
and data
F The maintenance service should be
able to act immediately for the system
failure etc.
G The system should make Ookayama
Library, Suzukakedai Library, Ocha-
nomizu Library, and Konodai Library
provide services to users in six campuses
of Ookayama, Yushima, Surugadai,
Konodai, Yokohama, and Tamachi. The
system should be able to correspond to
relocation and changes in the number of
campuses or libraries
H The system should totally manage the
library activities and services such as ac-
quisition, cataloging, circulation and in-
terlibrary loan. The cataloging and in-
terlibrary loan services are managed
with the newest functions of NII (Na-
tional Institute of Informatics) NACSIS-
CAT/ILL system.
I The system should cooperate with the
Institute's financial management system,
Science Tokyo Authentication System,
vendor's ordering system and a link re-
solver service etc.
J Processing of the system should been
automated as much as possible including
cooperation with external systems.
K The system should be able to ac-
cumulate electronically the various scien-
tific data which the Institute owns and to
retrieve them.
L The system should be able to provide
functions for book reservation and other
services to users via WWW browsers
M The system should be able to aut-
henticate members who belong to the In-
stitute by using Science Tokyo Aut-
hentication System
N The system should have wide flexibil-
ity for improvement and extensibility in
terms of technical progress and specifica-
tion changes of external systems.
O Swift and smooth migration from the
present two systems that 4 libraries are
using should be ensured, including the in-
heritance of current property.
P The contractor should carry out the
education and training for library staff
for smooth operation after the system in-
troduction.
