(5)調達に必要とされる基本的な要求要件
A本システムは、公開データ用サーバ、分
譲・共同利用サーバ、解析用サーバ、we
bサーバ、高速磁気ディスクアレイ装置及
びリクルート情報管理サーバを中心として
構成されていること,
B公開データ用サーバは、インターネット
からのアクセスが可能で、リモートからの
アクセスも含め、公開データの解析を行う
ことが可能であること。
C分譲・共同利用サーバは、ゲノム・オ
ミックス・健康情報等機微性の高いデータ
の解析を行うため、セキュリティに配慮し
つつ、遠隔地の研究者も解析できるシステ
ムである必要がある。これらのデータを統
合的に扱うことができる本機構で開発済み
の統合データベース及び開発中の知識デー
タベースの運用を行うことが可能であるこ

D解析用サーバは、大規模なゲノム・オ
ミックス解析を行うため、高い演算性能と
高速なディスクアクセスが可能な機能を有
すること。
Ewebサーバは、公開可能な情報を公開
する基盤としていくつかのwebサービス
の運用をセキュリティに配慮しつつ行うこ
とが可能であること。
F高速磁気ディスクアレイ装置は、12万の
短鎖リード全ゲノムデータ及びオミックス
データと15万人の健康情報(主としてテキ
ストデータで、一部、MRI画像データを
含む)を蓄え、全国の研究者の研究基盤と
して、セキュアに活用を行うことが可能な
システムであること。
Gリクルート情報管理サーバは、全参加者
15万人の様々な健康調査の実施状況をリア
ルタイムに格納管理し、リクルート現場に
おけるセキュアな情報利用を可能とするシ
ステムであること。
H現有データやソフトウェア資産の移植等
の新システムへの移行性については十分な
配慮を行うこと。
既設の空調機器等を十分に活用しつつ、
必要に応じて新規設置の提案を行うこと。
2資料及びコメントの提供方法上記1(2)の物

件等に関するコメント並びに提供可能なライプ
ラリーに関する資料等の提供を招請する。

ることがあり得る。
6 Summary
(1)Classification of the products to be pro-

(2)Nature and quantity of the products to be
purchased : Platform System for Promoting
the Utilization of Large-scale Cohort Data

(3) Type of the procurement : Purchase
(4) Basic requirements of the procurement :
A The system consists from the following
sub-systems; a server for open data, a
server for data sharing, a server for ge-
nome-omics data analyses, a web server,
one hard disk array system, and a server
for cohort data.
B The server for open data should be de-
signed for open category data, thus it
should be conveniently but securely ac-
cessed with other organizations for re-
gistered users.
C The server for data sharing should be
designed for secure data storage, but it
should be accessible from other organiza-
tions through secure access for author-
ized users. This server also serves the in-
tegrated database and the integrated
knowledge database, both of which will
be provided from us.
D The server for genome-omics data ana-
lyses should be highly optimized for
genome and omics data analyses, thus it
should have high speed CPUs and high
speed storage.
E The web server will be used for some
web services to share some of our data
that can be suitable for web access. It
should be special attention to the security
for web access
F The hard disk array should
have enough capacity to manage several
120 thousand whole genome and omics
data along with 150 thousand health in-
formation mainly consisting from text
data but data.
This server is also used for the main plat-
form for data analyses by authorized re-
searchers in other organizations with a
highly secure access protocol.
G The cohort data server should be de-
signed to manage cohort data of 150 thou-
sand participants to the genome cohort
project in Tohoku, and should be able to
be accessed from secure VPN networks
from satellite centers.
H Special attentions should be paid for
the transfer of the programs and the data
from the current computer systems to the
new system
I Special attentions should be paid for
re-use of existing cooling systems. If ex-
isting cooling system is not enough to in-
troduce new servers, new cooling system
should be included in a proposal.
